This is a sample of a series of short animations geared towards social media that I co-produced. These animations are eye-catching, short, and most importantly, they showcase key statistics that bring the company's key messages around sustainability to life.
This video was designed to help our stakeholders understand a new platform that would process data generated by our mines, analyze it, and then optimize different variables to help improve production as part of our digital transformation.
This is a sample of some of the content in a long-scroll web page that I wrote and co-produced to highlight how Barrick partners with indigenous peoples to create shared prosperity. The page features various animated infographics, images of partnership participants from host communities, and ambient video. I also designed a social media campaign to bolster exposure around this content. The aim of these communications efforts was to highlight how Barrick should become the resource developer of choice with potential and current host communities.
I produced this video to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the partnership between Barrick and Cisco while highlighting the progress that Barrick made in one year on its commitments to innovation. The video provided great visibility to our leaders at the corporate and mine-site levels, along with leaders from Cisco. It helped continue to position Barrick as an innovation leader in the gold mining industry.
These videos were part of a series that I produced for recruitment purposes showcasing employees from different areas of the company. I worked with two creative agencies to produce these videos as part of our website relaunch to entice potential employees to apply for positions in the company.
These videos were part of the Pan Am Parapan Am Game spots that I co-produced for Barrick's sponsorship of that event in Toronto in 2015. I interviewed our mine employees to put a human face to the company and the work that made possible the metals for the medals. This helped to build a human connection between our audiences and the company and demonstrate that our people are members of our host communities.
I organized access to mine personnel and different areas of the mine for our agency team to be able to capture the footage necessary across three countries and three mines in the Americas.
If and when you need to reach stakeholders beyond the digital world, I am equipped to oversee and develop the editorial process be it for magazines or other print materials. I have worked with agency teams to design a magazine and write feature articles showcasing the company’s work on a range of issues from digital and innovation to human rights and the environment and more.
I developed this video as part of our broader focus on water conservation in mining which I tied into World Water Day.
When budgets are tighter or high-quality can be reused with more recent footage to breathe new life into a communications campaign, I'm equipped to edit video using Adobe Premiere Pro.
This is a video that I produced which formed part of the company booth that I designed for a large mining conference. I have also included an image of what the finished booth looked like.
